Welcome to EDU FOR ALL PROJECT
The Edu For all Project aims to find new approaches of adult education in order to be successful to reach a huge amount of people even disadvantaged for several reasons like social, migrant backgrounds, living in rural areas etc. The EDU FOR ALL project supports this approach by producing a handbook for providers of adult education containing guidelines for the acquisition of groups that deal with education and for how to advise them. The handbook will be easy to handle and to understand. Specialist terminology will mainly be avoided both in handbook and workshops; if necessary they will be explained. There will be case studies (e.g. concerning the question “How can you thematically/methodologically improve the quality of a group’s educational work?) and diagrams. It will contain templates, e.g. for the drawing up of referent pools or the joint utilisation of technical equipment. Templates for questionnaires and check lists will be short and simple, open questions will be avoided, and the layout will be optically pleasing. There will be a comprehensive glossary that is easy to use and where as many terms as possible are well explained. That is how disturbances can be avoided because terms that the user does not understand are made clear in a “discrete” way – often people are to shy to just ask for explanation. For network coordinators who interview heads of groups and give them advice the project material will contain advices for how to have conversations. The group aimed approach of adult education has proved to be successful to reach a huge amount of people even disadvantaged for several reasons like social, migrant backgrounds, living in rural areas etc.
